Cách sử dụng

Diễn tả một hành động đã xảy ra ở quá khứ nhưng còn kéo dài đến hiện tại và tương lai.

E.g.: I have known my best friend Lisa for 7 years.

(Tôi quen bạn thân của tôi Lisa 7 năm rồi. -> Hành động xảy ra ở quá khứ nhưng vẫn còn tiếp tục ở hiện tại.)

Đề cập một hành động xảy ra nhiều lần mang tính lặp lại cho đến hiện tại.

E.g.: She has read this book several times.

(Cô ấy đọc cuốn sách này nhiều lần rồi. -> Hành động lặp lại nhiều lần.)

Thể hiện kinh nghiệm, trải nghiệm của một cá nhân.

E.g.: This is the first time I have been to Paris.

(Đây là lần đầu tiên tôi được đến Paris. -> Trải nghiệm, kinh nghiệm.)

Diễn tả một hành động nhưng không rõ thời gian cụ thể làm hành động ấy.

E.g.: Peter has lost his door key. He is trying to find it.

(Peter mất chìa khóa cửa rồi. Anh ấy đang cố gắng tìm được nó. -> Hành động không có thời gian xảy ra cụ thể.)

Diễn tả một hành động đã xảy ra trong quá khứ nhưng kết quả, hậu quả của hành động ấy còn lưu lại đến hiện tại.

E.g.: I have run for 3 hours. I’m very tired now.

(Tôi chạy 3 tiếng đồng hồ rồi. Giờ tôi đang rất mệt. -> Hành động xảy ra ở quá khứ nhưng kết quả còn lưu lại đến hiện tại.)

Dấu hiệu nhận biết: just, already, recently, lately, since, ever, never, before, yet, so far, until now, up to now, this month, this week, during/for/in/over + the past/last time,…

Thường đi với cấu trúc so sánh hơn nhất: the + Adj-est/the + most + Adj.

E.g.: This is the most interesting movie I have ever seen.
